Andrew Fleming is a pretty nice guy, I've talked to him several times on Sockeye sidelines, even back when they weren't so good (or he played for Portland?) He's one of the oldest guys on that team and he made the defining play of this game, and maybe the tournament.
Sockeye wins now, 17-15, on a huck and dish but Fleming with the grab was tremendous.
Fleming, on Sockeye since 2002. I thought he came directly from Harvard. Sockeye has been pretty good most of that time (missed semis in 2003 & 2008). But yes, a pretty nice guy.
ReplyDeleteSo how old is Fleming?
ReplyDeletethanks for the twitter stlye blog write up.
ReplyDeleteMaybe I'm just being sensitive because we are about the same age, but can Fleming really be considered in any way "old"? He's just turned 30 this year. I vote no. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates!
